I'm a backend engineer who works primarily in Java and Spring Boot, with hands-on experience building event-driven systems using Apache Kafka, Redis, and PostgreSQL. Across two backend internships and several independent projects, I've designed database schemas, secured REST APIs with Spring Security and JWT, and cut API response times by up to 97% through caching and query optimization. I placed 1st Runner-Up among 1,220+ participants at the DSN × Bluechip Technologies AI Summit Hackathon, among other hackathon finishes, and I'm currently studying Electrical & Electronics Engineering at the University of Lagos. I'm drawn to systems that need to be fast, reliable, and event-driven — the infrastructure that quietly keeps a product running at scale.
